Purchase / Refund Policy
This Policy explains how purchases, production, shipping, cancellations, replacements, returns, and refunds are handled for GOSATÉ products and services.
1. Made-to-Order Products
Most GOSATÉ wallpaper products are produced on a print-on-demand basis after your order is placed. Each wallpaper order is manufactured according to the selected design, colorway, material, quantity, dimensions, and order details.
For this reason, full wallpaper roll orders cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for change of mind, incorrect customer selection, incorrect measurements, color expectations, or installation-related reasons.
2. Samples
Samples are provided to help you review color, texture, material, scale, and print quality before placing a full order. We strongly recommend ordering samples before purchasing wallpaper rolls.
- Samples are not refundable for change of mind.
- If a sample is damaged during shipping, defective, or incorrectly sent, contact us with photos and your order number.
- For confirmed sample defects, damage, or misdelivery, we may provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.
3. Full Wallpaper Roll Orders
Full wallpaper roll orders are produced by our manufacturing and dropshipping partner Fancy Walls / Monetic LTD or its affiliated fulfillment entities and may be shipped directly from the production facility to the customer.
Once production has started, cancellation is generally not possible. If you need to cancel an order, contact us immediately at contact@gosate.kr. We will review whether cancellation is still possible, but we cannot guarantee cancellation after production begins.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
If you receive damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped wallpaper, contact us as soon as possible with the following information:
- Order number.
- Clear photos of the damaged, defective, or incorrect item.
- Photos of the packaging and shipping label.
- A description of the issue.
After review, our primary remedy is replacement or reproduction of the affected item. Refunds may be considered only where replacement is not reasonably possible or where required by applicable law.
Do not discard the product or packaging until the claim is resolved. The carrier, manufacturer, or fulfillment partner may require photos, return, inspection, or additional evidence.
5. Color, Texture, and Batch Differences
Wallpaper appearance may vary depending on monitor settings, lighting, wall surface, material type, production batch, and installation environment. Slight color, texture, scale, or finish differences are not considered defects.
Customers are strongly advised to order and review physical samples before placing a full wallpaper order. Full orders placed without reviewing samples are made at the customer’s own risk.
6. Measurement and Quantity Responsibility
The customer is responsible for measuring the installation area, calculating the required quantity, confirming panel layout, allowing for trimming and pattern matching, and ordering sufficient extra material.
GOSATÉ is not responsible for incorrect measurements, insufficient quantity, pattern matching shortages, ordering mistakes, or costs arising from reordering additional wallpaper.
7. Installation Responsibility
The customer is responsible for checking wall condition, surface preparation, material suitability, adhesive or paste compatibility, installation method, and hiring a qualified installer where appropriate.
Products that have been cut, pasted, applied, installed, damaged during installation, or otherwise altered are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund, except where required by applicable law.
We are not responsible for installation errors, unsuitable walls, moisture, humidity, heat, open flame exposure, textured surfaces, oil-based paint, poor surface preparation, adhesive failure, installer negligence, or failure to follow product instructions.
8. Shipping
Samples may be shipped from Korea via Korea Post / EMS or another carrier. Full wallpaper roll orders may be shipped directly by Fancy Walls / Monetic LTD or its fulfillment and carrier partners.
Shipping estimates are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to production volume, customs, carrier delays, weather, incorrect address, local delivery restrictions, or events outside our control.
9. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or local charges depending on destination country, product type, declared value, and carrier policy.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout or by the applicable shipping provider, these charges are the customer’s responsibility. GOSATÉ cannot control or predict local customs decisions, import charges, or delays.
10. Address Errors and Undeliverable Packages
The customer is responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address, phone number, and recipient information. We are not responsible for delays, loss, return shipping, reshipment fees, customs issues, or delivery failure caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
11. How to Request Support
For any order issue, contact us at contact@gosate.kr with your order number and supporting information. Claims should be made promptly after delivery so that we can review the issue with the carrier, manufacturer, or fulfillment partner.
12. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot be excluded or restricted under applicable consumer protection law. If mandatory law gives you rights that differ from this Policy, those mandatory rights will apply.
