1. Seller Information

GOSATÉ is operated by BAEMUI (배무이), a business registered in the Republic of Korea. BAEMUI is the seller of products and services offered through this website unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Products and Services

GOSATÉ offers restored Korean historical wallpaper designs, wallpaper samples, wallpaper rolls, custom production, business account services, and commercial project inquiries. Most wallpaper products are produced on a print-on-demand basis after an order is placed.

Because print-on-demand wallpaper is produced according to the product type, quantity, material, colorway, scale, and order specifications selected by the customer, it is not ordinary stocked inventory.

3. Orders

• You are responsible for reviewing product type, material, colorway, quantity, dimensions, shipping address, and order details before placing an order.
• We may refuse, cancel, or request additional verification for orders that appear fraudulent, incomplete, technically erroneous, legally restricted, or commercially unreasonable.
• An order is not finally accepted until payment has been authorized and we have confirmed that the order can be processed.
• For custom production, commercial projects, trade orders, or business account orders, additional written terms, estimates, invoices, or project confirmations may apply.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices may be displayed in the currency selected or supported by the website. Currency conversion, card issuer fees, international transaction fees, and exchange rates may be applied by your payment provider and are not controlled by GOSATÉ.

We currently use payment providers including PayPal, KG INICIS, KakaoPay, Naver Pay, and related payment services. By making a payment, you also agree to the applicable terms and privacy practices of the payment provider you choose.

5. Production and Fulfillment

Full wallpaper roll orders may be produced and shipped directly by our production and dropshipping partner Fancy Walls / Monetic LTD or its affiliated fulfillment entities. Production and shipping times are estimates and may vary by product type, destination, customs processing, carrier capacity, seasonal demand, and circumstances outside our control.

Samples may be shipped separately from Korea via Korea Post / EMS or another carrier. Samples and full wallpaper rolls may arrive in separate shipments.

6. Shipping, Customs, and Import Duties

We provide international shipping to destinations supported by our production and shipping partners. Availability, shipping methods, estimated delivery times, taxes, import duties, and customs procedures may vary depending on destination country and product type.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout or by the applicable shipping provider, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, VAT, local taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country. GOSATÉ is not responsible for delays caused by customs, local authorities, incorrect shipping information, or carrier issues.

7. Samples and Color Review

Wallpaper colors, texture, scale, and finish may appear differently depending on monitor settings, lighting, wall surface, material type, and printing batch. We strongly recommend ordering a sample before placing a full wallpaper order.

By placing a full wallpaper order without reviewing a physical sample, you accept the risk of reasonable differences in color, texture, scale, finish, and appearance.

8. Installation Responsibility

The customer is responsible for measuring walls, calculating required quantity, ordering sufficient extra material, confirming installation conditions, checking wall surface suitability, and hiring a qualified installer where appropriate.

GOSATÉ is not responsible for installation errors, incorrect measurements, insufficient quantity ordered, unsuitable wall conditions, adhesive or paste issues, damage during installation, failure to follow instructions, environmental conditions, or results after wallpaper has been cut, pasted, applied, or otherwise installed.

9. Returns, Refunds, and Replacements

Returns, refunds, cancellations, and replacements are governed by our Purchase / Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Print-on-demand wallpaper is generally not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund for change of mind, incorrect customer selection, incorrect measurements, color expectations, or installation-related reasons.

10. Intellectual Property

All GOSATÉ designs, restored patterns, archival materials, product images, photographs, texts, research notes, graphics, page layouts, logos, brand elements, and digital content are owned by or licensed to BAEMUI / GOSATÉ and are protected by copyright, trademark, design, unfair competition, and other applicable laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, scan, trace, digitize, extract, train AI models on, modify, distribute, manufacture, sell, license, publish, or commercially use any GOSATÉ design, image, wallpaper pattern, archival material, or content without prior written permission.

Purchasing a product does not transfer copyright, design rights, trademark rights, archival rights, reproduction rights, licensing rights, or any other intellectual property rights to you.

11. Business Accounts and Commercial Projects

Business accounts, trade discounts, custom production, set design inquiries, film and TV set services, licensing, and commercial collaborations may require additional verification, project details, contracts, estimates, invoices, or written approvals. We may approve, reject, suspend, or terminate business account access at our discretion.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GOSATÉ and BAEMUI are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the website, products, installation, delivery delay, customs delay, production delay, or inability to use the products.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
